We enter yearly framing competitions and often are the proud winners of a ribbon. Samples of Our Award Winning Designs

This silkscreen by Chris Pashke is mounted onto a raised, gold leafed platform. The bevel of the outer mat is painted gold and the entire outer mat is lifted to create dimension. Finally a water gilded gold frame with oriental detailing completes the piece.

The small hand colored lady bug etching is mounted under a frame of matboard with a red painted bevel. This matboard frame floats over a background created with chalk pastels. A weathered moss green wooden frame completes the project.

The matting for this machine stitched welcome is hand wrapped with two layers of fabric. The first is a bright blue to match the background of the stitching and the second is a sheer gold metallic. The inner lip of the matting is finished off with a gold filet to complement the gold frame. This piece won first place in our area competition and second place in the national competition.
